Getting a phpld Category Dump

So, I am working on getting this category dump found here. However, it says I need to:

Third, select the tables PLD Category and PLD Category SEQ. This will erase any categories that are already in place.

Fourth, import the optimumdirsql.sql file via your myphpsql. This will add the new categories and categories sequence.

Well, I don't have a PLD Category SEQ. I have the PLD Category, but I can't select the sequence because it's not there. How do I go about installing this then if I don't have that sequence?

 

If memory serves, the 'PLD Category SEQ' table is only created when you add your first category. Try adding one via the phpLD admin and then empty your tables via phpMyAdmin.

 

Just Import That file
The table will be automatically created

#1050 - Table 'PLD_CATEGORY' already exists

 

Delete the table then and it will be automatically created by the import.

I got it to work, but I have another question. When uploading a new template, do I just need to upload the files to my FTP and that's it?

 

First of all tell me which version of phpLD are you using

 

version 3.2, but I got that part to work.

 

Upload that templates main folder to templates folder and then log in to administartive palen by going to http://www.yourdir.com/admin and then go to Template manager and activate you template.
Any more questions?

 

Yeah - Whenever I click on one of the categories, it takes me back to the homepage. Any particular reason?
