getting a new laptop- is this config good?

I am finally getting a new laptop and wanted opinions on this before I order.

it is the Dell Vostro 3700 and after all the customization below and a 99.00 coupon it comes to 970- right around my buget

this is for web design (dreamweaver, photoshop, flash occasionally, as well as other general internet and email stuff.)

My husband may use it occasionally to play WOW lol, if I let him!

Im Into Hardcore Gaming So If Ur Husband Wants To Use It To, Then You can go for a "alienware" laptop. Dell makes Them.. alienware.com/

But Still Your Lapppy Config Will Support All Latest Games And Web Designing Without A Problem...

 

Dell Vostro 3700 with Core i5, that's a high-end config. It's enough for your work and gaming.

 

bro just heard the i core high end processers heats up much. Will make your mother board and inbuild graphics chip burns and soldering may go wrong. Buy 3 years extended warenty.. will be much worthy

 

look like nice configuration.

 

If you want to do graphical work then its really good configuration laptop.

 

Sounds good to me, only thing I would say is that is a big screen to lug around.

its good but you can try intel i3-i7 processors they are better than core 2 duo or dual core

Its really good and my friend is having almost same laptop.. You also could ask for full cover from Dell. That feature is also very nice.

 

this is configration good that you done it . Model vostro are expensive and fantastic.

 

i want to made some changes in your list
1. dual core processor provide you 2.66 GHz latest processor
2. operating system is good but the windows professional version 2002 sp2 is far better than window 7, it provide great compatibility with other hardware and software
and other configuration is good. i really like it....

 

That's actually a good setup. However, I've heard some nasty stuff about the I5 processor. Many reviews have shown that it heat up very fast and may cause problems in the long run. If you can afford it, just opt to get a laptop with an I7 processor.

Not bad Configuration you have there on your laptop. it is one of the most latest High end Configuration we have now. Good for Gaming, Programming and other stuffs you do on your laptop Bro

Nice specifications, but I think it's a bit overkill for what you want to use it for.

 

Its well suits for you my friend you can go with that
