Is this even possible. I've been registering myspace accounts with MySpace URLs that has a high PageRank (PR 4 or PR 5). Its even better if someone could come up with a code that gives a 301 redirect message to the search engines. I know this seems unethical but it sure helps if you want your OWN website to have a high PR.
Um, I don't think this is allowed, but this might help... http://www.bytemycode.com/snippets/snippet/556/
Go and visit:http://www.screennameforum.com/Myspace-Chat-f88.html The haker kids there will show you how for sure!
Not exactly what I was looking for but thats also a very interesting technique to get people go to your website Thx Thx...I've also made a new thread there. Hope that someone will figure it out.
301 redirects can only be issued in headers so no it not possible to create a 301 redirect but you can make a page redirect using flash based redirects.
could you even throw a <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;URL=http://yoururl.com/link/to/me.html" /> in the body? I mean, there's no point being standards compliant when it's MySpace.. I hate having to use <style>..</style> outside of the head..
I've tried that code before and it does not work. MySpace would simply strip the code if you try to implement it Btw, one of my site is getting a lot of hits coming from one of my profile pages. Does anyone knows a MySpace Traffic/Hits Tracker that WORKS?
I have a counter that works at http://www.popularmyspacepages.com. If you can program you might also buy one of the turnkey scripts and use it just for yourself. search "myspace counter turnkey". Another solution if you program and want full features is open source tracker such as Power Phlogger (http://www.phpee.com/21.html). This one is driven by image counts where the image is a file with php extension. To hit that image on myspace you need to put the link as a css background url or embed it in flash.
Has anyone figured this out yet? I've also been trying to figure out how to direct my profile to my website. And the link to the myspace chat didn't work? And the code has to be in html, dhtml, or css, which makes it very hard to find a code that will work for re-directing a myspace.
