Getting a link from a different language site?

    Hey all,

    I was wondering if it's still good for SEO to get a link from a different language site (related to the same niche as yours) ?

    Let's say I have a French site talking about Making Money Online (in French) and I get a link to it from another MMO site in English... will Google and other SEs give value to this link?

    Yes - Google will give the link any value it deserves according to the reputation and authority of the page that it comes from. In other word a link from a good French page is good and a link from a bad French page is bad.

    Language may not be a problem as far as it resembles with your website niche.
