I was wondering how I might plan a possible (of course, nothing is gurenteed) strategy for getting a HIGH PR for my site, www.gamingdl.com Please post any ideas, excluding REALLY high cost strategies. I'm looking for more of a cheap & natural way to do this. I really wish to generate some income off adsense or something. Oh, the site is a year old.
Good quality incoming links...... You can get quite a few of them in the link sales section of DP too at a cheap price.. And do not think of your site as a way to make money... First treat it as a site you just wish to promote, without thinking about adsense... Once you are able to do that, then think of Monetizing it
Hi Skynt; In my suggesstion build a backlink from content pages and take oneway link by directory submission.Such as Article posting in good article site and directory submission with relevent category. Example; australia.mobilecontentworld.net I have optimized this site inspite of subdomain it gained PR=4 for home page and PR=5 for inner pages(Duration=5 months only)by same method as i suggest u above. sandy seo consultant
Useless post. Why he still has green and I have red... Anyway, to get the high PR you need inbound links of high PR. To do this consider purchasing some. Make sure that thge links are releavant to your site and that the pagernak is legit. Also check the cache of the siter to see if it has been spidered recently. A good PR 7 link will cost $50-100 a month and could turn your site into a PR 5-6 after an update. But you may have to wait three months for that to happen. A PR 8-10 link is much more expensive and passes more PR
Find as many as low PR (2 - 5) and look at their backlinks! If they have a small amount of backlink, make a link exchange with'em! PR2 with 2 backlinks is better than PR8 with 800 backlinks.
It's very easy to get PR4, but if you want to get PR6+, buy good quality incoming links. IMO, It will cost you $500 (buy 2*PR7 links * 3months) to get PR6.
My question is why do you want to get high PR? Don't you want to rank highly in the search engines instead? The two aren't the same, having high PR doesn't necessarily mean that you will rank highly.
Have you done directory submissions? They might not help boost your PR, but they do help in getting relevant back links. Also, look at your competitor sites and see how they are doing in terms of backlinks. Where they get their links from. Contact those sites. For directory submissions, you might want to contact those who are already providing directory submissions here at DP. amitpatel_3001 offers some great directory submission services.
I think I'll just try to get as many PR2 and PR3 sites to link to me as I can. I sure don't have enough money to get a PR7 site to link to me. Inless one of my friends has one.
This is the dream of lot of web masters. Every one wants the high PR. Check the high PR sites and see what they are doing. and how they got the good PR then see if you can improve your site. I don't have anything over PR3 but have 3 - PR3 sites and few PR2 sites. Would like to be at PR5 and PR4 (Two point Jump) May god bless my sites. Thanks
