    Hi,

How do you improve the pr of a links page? I have been missing out on some quality link exchanges because my links pages are too low.

    Cheers,
    Wes

Jeez, link web page is not important anymore. Try to exchange article web page or something like that.

Orite, well I havn't been doing much of that anyways. Just thought it couldn't hurt to encourage some high pr'd reciprocal links.

what do you mean by exchanging an article web page?

If you have some money to burn you can buy posts in blogs. These from my experience tend to be very effective for raising PR. They can be expensive though, but at least they are permanent.

    * Socially bookmark your links page, as well as the link pages your site is listed on. That'll give a slight push, and give all pages involved a bit more recognition.
    * Link your link page from your highest PR page, and it may get a bit of trickle down.
    * Write articles and point them to your links page as "resources" then submit those articles to directories.
    * Make sure that your link page has sites worth clicking into and that they are relevant to your main page. If your links page is not a resource, no one will bother with it.

In other words, treat your links page as if it were any other part of your site. Of course, in pushing your links page, you'll get some traffic to flow through your site to the sites you are linking too...

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a go. Best bit of advice I've received so far! ;) No offence hersheys but the advice you gave wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
