Getting A Good QS For A Lead Generation Campaign

I recently started working with a client who needs leads for a home based business. He has no site so i'm starting from scratch but has lots of content already written that i can use. It is a legitimate business and not surveys or ebooks and other scams out there but I know that i'm in trouble as:

    1. Google hates data collection
    2. Google hates work from home offers

So i'm doing some planning first as i know this campaign could be very costly if not done well. Is it going to possible to keep this page from getting slapped with an atrocious QS? If i make a content rich landing page following all the rules that then goes to the data collection form will this help keep me out of the google gutter? Anyone who has lead generation experience and can give me some advice on how they've approached google's hate for data collection would be greatly appreciated.

Google does not hate data collection, Google hates scams and uninformative non targeted marketing. PPC landing pages do not need to be content rich, as in lots of text. They want to make sure a couple of things.

    1. You business is legit with an about us and privacy policy
    2. You bidding on term xyz relates to the offer being sold
    3. what you say in your text ad is transparent on the landing page

You can simple put an image and a form and nothing else, so long as the messaging is accurate and you are not trying to trick anyone.

I have one client who has nothing but a video intro and a form to fill out. QS is awesome and they are spending almost 50% less than their previous management company.

Thats good to hear you are having success. The business is legit and will definitely have about us, contact us, privacy policy, and will explain the business model. Would it be worthwhile to have other pages with more information that are linked off the the main landing page or does this have no effect on your QS?

anything other than the direct landing page makes no difference. It could be a 1 page site and have the greatest QS in the world. Overall site quality does not play a difference in the QS. That is more SEO

website content isn't everything to QS, its best to have the keyword in your ad title, description, and destination URL
