Getting a dishonest iTrader rating. what to do?

    iTrader is a sign of people trusting or not trusting you but it seems people abuse it sometimes. I got a 'revenge' negative rating and it looks bad in my stats. I bought a service from a guy, it was really poor and asked for a refund which he didn't want to give, so I naturally gave him a negative rating and opened a dispute with Paypal.

    In return he gave me a negative (trashy even) iTrader although I played my part the ways I was supposed to. What can I do?

    iTrader is an unmoderated area. So if you think your negative iTrader will be remove then sorry, as it's not going to happen. Moderators also don't involves in business disputes between members.

    The best thing you can do is to leave a review on your thought about the seller service in his thread so others will know about it.

    Both parties have the right to leave itraders. You were not happy with his service, he wasn't happy with you.

    iTrader is un unmoderated area, i wouldn't think too much of it. Rather i would actually look in the deal threads of the user to see what actually went down. Most negative iTraders are returned by a scammer or member who actually deserved it and wanted to get back at the person.

    I've had the same thing happen to me. There is nothing you can do unfortunately.

    Is there a option of mutual agreement that both the parties to remove the negative itrader if they wish to do so?

    If yes, apologies for my ignorance and if not why not amend it as it will be a amicable solution which is either way not moderated by admins.

    No, itraders can only be edited for 8 hours, after that its permanent. Itrader is a feedback tool, not a toll for making the other party do what you want and later taking it back.
