Don't just create a forum for the sake of it. Think of what particular niches don't have a presence on the net and try and cater to them.

You need to keep the topics alive, start new ones daily, make some post exchanges from time to time to have some new blood and maybe add some free downloads or something.

A forum takes a lot of work to build, you're into some serious work. But it's nice and worth all the effort in the end ;)

Its pretty hard to get started. You need to build the community around a certain subject, 'general' forums don't seem to work as well.

I would also suggest some cheap marketing such as MySpace marketing, drop me an email (faketrix@gmail.com) to find out more.

    Cheers, Tom
