Getting a BLOGSPOT blog indexed in google

I have more than several different websites and never had a problem getting indexed by google. I started creating blogs at blogger.com and found it was difficult to get them idexed even though I had many links to them from different locations. Does anyone have any idea what I can do??

 

Best way to get indexed is to add it to your signature here at DP as soon as you are allowed. You could also purchase signature links on here from older members.

 

Get more links to your site is best way.

 

Ok these replies so far don't help. I get tired of answers that are just plain invaluable. I already have gotten links to them and I have signatures on other forums which point to them.

 

Maybe your content is duplicated?
Try site:http://www.yoursite.com/ and see maybe it's in the supplementary results.

 

I checked and didnt find it. All I found was an article I wrote on multiple sites which link to it. HMM.....????

I found the same thing...I started a blogspot blog a few weeks ago and made about 10 posts.

figured it would at least get indexed pretty quick but it is not even indexed yet!

 

I have blogspot too,and I think it easier to get traffic than wordpress(but I like plate of wordpress more than )
Blogger.com is share with google,I think.

 

I don't have a sig here because I am too new but I have them on other forums and still nothing. Its funny how I can find now 12 sites linking to the blog but still no indexing in google. HMMM....

 

i dont think that blogger blogs are getting problems to indexed by google. if you ping your blogs to the sites like tecnorati , your site will be indexed in short times

 

Try to get one-way backlinks by submitting articles and stuff to ezine.
submit your site to free web directories
and post on these supertacular forums
Also, those question and answer sites such as 43 things, and stuff don't hurt

Open up a squidoo and create a lens with your link on it. that should help pretty darn fast as well.

It took me 6 months to get a blog on blogger indexed although i didnt really embark on any major link building with it just pinging mainly.

I wrongly assumed with blogger being owned by google it would be quicker.

 

Dont waste money on signature links, they are basically worthless.

Lash out and buy a PR7 or a couple of PR6 links. Do some directory submissions, sponsor a Wordpress template and you will be indexed in no time.

 

OP - I have a blogspot.com blog and got indexed by Google very quickly. I posted lots of posts very quickly, pinged technorati, got listed on some blog directories, tagged my site on delicious and some other social bookmarking sites, and finally got a few "real" links from other blogs. I don't think there's any one "secret" thing to do. You have to make unique, original content that other people want to link to, and you'll eventually get indexed.

I tell myself that because I have yet to get Yahoo or MSN to index anything beyond my home page. ;-)

 

try adding some keyword labels to your blogger posts

 

wait for some time. your blog might be sandboxed. it might get out very soon. please keep building the links
