Hi, I wasnt sure what forum to put this in so if its in wrong one pls move. First thing I wanted to do was make it subject(s) I am interested in, so I am thinking of doing an entertainmentish blog, (Music, films, celebs etc), this way I can write articles on films, albums etc I am interested in so content will be easier and I also feel it will be content that a lot of other people will like too. My worry is it being a waste of time, I run adult sites right now and do fine with them but want to do something sfw, so for people who run blogs and more importantly blogs that do well how long did it take to get going? How did you get it going? I know little about sfw promotion except the basics like link exchange, directory submission. Is it worth it? Thanks
List your blog on many blog directories out there and on social bookmarking websites such as reddit. A celeb blog is very hard to get started as that seems to be the most popular and most of the time you only see them up a few months and when they can't sustain traffic they give it up. But if you already have websites that generate traffic then just make sure you link those offer as best as possible but remember if its an adult websites and you are putting direct links from the adult sites to the blog then you have to watch out as big bad google may not like it if you are using adsense
