Video sites are known to have a low payout. I think the most important thing for you is to increase your number of visitors.

It's tough since a video site may not be the best paying type of site since the content is just videos....better the content/niche the better the payout -- supposedly. Some people here no a lot better.

You can try to use adblacklist.com and try to eliminate low paying advertisers. Look at your ads and go to some of the sites - don't click on them just type in the URL and see if the site is an MFA with no real content since they pay nothing.

Just a couple of ideas. Good luck

I think I read some where (probably here) that video sites get a lot of low paying ads, just like arcade sites do. Someone will probably be able to correct me on this if I'm wrong though.

If you have any type of statistic reporting, take a look at what keywords your site is receiving. Try to diversify the keywords that bring people to your site. This will obviously in turn display different ads on your site. Historically speaking, video sites have low paying ads because they are not written content based.

It is also kind of suspicious that 300 clicks average to be 0.01 a click. I would send the AdSense team an email questioning the clicks, as it could be an issue with click fraud. You don't want to let it drag on only to have your account closed. This may not be the case, but its always better to be safe than sorry.

Its probable that you've been smartpriced because even video/entertainment sites normally average a bit mor than that.

They may suspect you of some sort of click fraud. Do you have alot of content on the site? If you can find a way to displaly content that is relevant to the video's you are displaying you should get better targetted ads, and more diversification on each page.

Try adding the phrases download movies, movie downloads, etc to you keywords. I did that on one site and went from 1-5 cents per click to 1-75 cents per click. Some Download Movie ads seem to pay well ;-)

you could also experiment with Commision Junction ads instead of adsense, I am testing an html ad using the noscript tag (for users who have javascript disabled) to show them a relevant ad, and I get $12.50 per application, (it's for car loans) but so far, with only 5% of users who have javascript disabled on their browsers (who would not see the adsense ads anyways) I have not had enough time to analyze the results. If I make more with the CJ ad, I may just drop adsense altogether.

The pay for 1 cent average is quite low. You might want to consider putting some targetted content for better click throughs...What is your website url BTW?

I would use CPM in your case... Adsense only work well with content sites.
Try to offer some free ring tones might work out...

As suggested by TRYPP, add some keywords like download movies, or buy movie, rent movie will definately going to help you.

Further, CPM ads are also good if you are getting good impressions.

Thanks for your help.. Looking at my site.. (last url in sig) Do you think that their is not enough content? Or just content that targets low paying ads? How could I throw in "Download Movies" or "Buy 'whatever" without it looking retarded and out of place?

    Also, What exactly is CPM?

    Regards,
    Zack
