Gettin approval for Adsense possible or not?

i have just sent in an application for adsense, but i didn't think of the fact that my site's not 100% finished yet AND it's not completely open for public yet! it will be completed in a couple of days and opened for public though..

a little bit about my site: it's an information page where users can get a lot of ideas, impressions and other point of views on the stuff that the site is about. a some sort of support & information website. i haven't announced it for the public yet, so there are no hits recorded for my site since it's not open yet.. my country location is NORWAY. my user status should be about 200 clicks per day once everything's up and running.

    now..

1: there's no way that my site will be approved based on these two major critics: 1) my website isn't completely finished (the one i put up as my website when i registered for google ads) and 2) i don't have any major traffic on my site.. so yeah, my Adsense-application will most likely not be approved, correct?

2: if my application doesn't get approved, is it possible for me to resend the application when everything's ready and the site got a nice traffic, or will the application be rejected right away, perhaps?

i guess that i've screwed up for my chances for getting a google adsense, yeah..?

any other tips, ideas and suggestions on this?

What do you mean by not completely finished? does it have any content yet? The traffic to your site won't matter in the process of being approved.

You should be able to reapply once your site is finished.

You need to quickly put content up, even if it's temporary. Either that, or get to work and finish it right away.

really? :O the traffic doesn't matter in the process of being approved? sounds way too good to be true! if that's the case, then i've "only" got the content to worry about.. like i mentioned, i will finish the content of my website within sunday or monday. right now, i've only got a small test-page up.. =/ what happens if my application gets rejected? can i reapply or is it like once in a lifetime? heh. one can never know.. well, at least i don't, so yeah..

also, IF my application gets approved, are there any other non-annoying ads that i can put in there that doesn't conflict with the Adsense? i've read that some ad-alternatives interfere with Adsense... any suggestions for another ad-system that would go well with Adsense?

thankies for the answer. t69! :)

No I don't think it has to be that complicated and based on the criteria that your site is not ready...I got my very own adsense account by just creating a blogger blog using plain standard template but submitted 10 new blog posts which are all unique and original. It can be as simple as that.

They could take up to a week for them to review your application
if you are finished before they look then maybe they will approve you

if they send a deny letter re-apply ONLY after you get the site finished

yes, i will relveal the site once it's ready. i am currently working with it OFFLINE, but it should be up either tonite or tomorro. so yeah, i guess that i can manage to finish this just in time. even put up an introduction page for the site. :)

    thankies for the help, people!

lycos, really? well, i've done ABOUT the same thing.. my frontpage will be like an information/news kind of page with links to the forums etc. just need to adjust colors, font and some texture stuff before it's ready. what do you reckon they base the approval on, huh? i will not have anything sexual (or any other fields) related material there..

chios; that sounds goodiegood. i hope that i can finish it in time. luckily i've got some good help from a good friend to finish it up, so yah.. :)
