    Lesson learned..the hard way:(

Please! All newbies, learn from this post.
Learn about back up. Learn how to work it, and know what steps to take if you have a failure or loss, so that you don't look like an idiot to your readers, subscribers, and contributers when you get a good thing going.

Still getting an SQL Error message, but I suspect when transfer to new host is over, all will be good.

Still not working...now it is worse than before.
A week later an I still have no blog. Host is no help, cannot access anything.

I am going to throw away a year of work and PR..I am so frustrated, and I am leaving contributers hanging out to dry.
    Does anyone have any help?

Holy crap..I think I found the culprit. A php contact form that I installed back during wordpress 2.1.
Ladies and gentleman, I think I have my blog back. (Hooray!)

So you say you have moved hosts.. is this true?

If so, do you now have direct access to cpanel and the database.. or do you have a back up .sql dump file from your old server/host?

You could just reinstall wordpress fresh, if you have all backups? Than overwrite the tables in the database with your backup and drop your backup theme and plugins in the new wp-content themes and plugin folder.

I can maybe help but would need access to your web file manager (cpanel) and or database files and ftp.

Yes, I have moved hosts, and have access to everything with back ups.
I have just gotten my blog back, apparently, plug ins were doing me in, since my old hosting situation, never put any limits on me, I never noticed how heavy the blog was.

I am testing out each plug in one by one to see if any others are draining memory, but for now, i have it up, and running...back to normal, less a few plug ins for now.

    <edited>

I guess I am not out of the woods..i cannot activate more than 5 plug ins without getting a memory error.
Is it that some are just not compatible with 2.3.2?
Do I have too many images hosted?

What can be the cause of this?
Am I doomed to only run 5 plug ins?

    Opinions please.

good to know that is is running again, goodluck with it and try to check every plug-in you are installing, one false install will get your site down.

Okay yea I just looked at the site 124.. and all looked pretty good except when I clicked on articles.. I got an error, something about includes/cache.php out of memory..

Are you using some wordpress cache plugin.. Might want to deactivate and re activate or try to update the plugins..

Yeah, still checking to see if I have compatible versions of all plug ins with 2.3.2. Not using a cache plug in...read too many bad reviews.

Since my other hosting set up never put any limitations on me, I never noticed how much some of the plug ins were draining resources. (Hmmn..that's what he was trying to tell me:()

There is still something that is not completely right, but at least I know where to look, and that is a big help.

I have a lot of photos loaded in wordpress also...in fact, I have never deleted one since the first day of blogging back in April.
Could this be a resource drain also?
