Just go for Aweber. Many Well-known webmasters are using it too. There is a comparison topic between Aweber and GetResponse: "Aweber Vs GetResponse, Which One Will You Choose?" Hope the article can give you an idea which one to choose.
I have been wondering what was better aweber or get response, and from all over the internet, over all I am getting that aweber is better because it has more features, and the best delivery rate, but getresponse is good too, and cheaper. I also know that many people don't even need the features aweber offers, so be sure to see if you will even use them, if not then getresponse would be better
In other words not an expensive service I'd say. Even if you own a huge list it can't cost you more than a couple hundreds a month. I personally use aweber for many reasons. NC. Media has just listed some of the main ones. Al.
Beware of getresponse.com. They only want money from you. All members from getresponse that didn't upgrade to the 149 US monthly were kicked out with false arguments of high spam ratings. They have been catalogued as a greedy company managed by people with really bad reputation as Ewelina Sydor, you don´t want to know her resume. Also are well know as racists so if your latinamerican or asian you are not allowed. Great company!
I actually have both a Getresponse account and an Aweber account too. I initially joined Getresponse last year, because back then, they had a lower price structure. I can't remember the exact details, but you could have a larger list for cheaper than what Aweber did. But then, they changed the structure and now both companies are about the same price. Both increase in price as your list size increases. Having been using both accounts, out of the two I prefer Aweber. These are the reasons why: 1) Aweber has a lot more opt in templates to choose from compared to Getresponse and the designs are good and customizable too, so it's much easier for people especially if you're not that good at designing for the web. 2) The customer service in my experience has been better at Aweber than GR. I had some problems with delivery of my emails last year and GR were very slow to respond to my tickets. It took days to get a response then I still had outstanding issues. To be fair, they were going through a system change over at the time and had some bugs that affected some accounts. But didn't leave me with a good impression. The service at Aweber has been excellent so far. They have live agents who can help you online straight away if you have problems, who were also very knowledgable. Also, I know this is just a small thing but Aweber actually gave me a courtesy phone call and letter when I joined to say thank you for me joining. Something I didn't get with GR. In terms of the user interface, I find the Aweber one easier to use and is laid out more logically than GR. At first, they both look quite similiar in the layout, but the functionality of the Aweber just beats GR by a bit. In terms of delivery rates, both are about the same and in both cases, they seem to struggle with emails getting through Yahoo accounts. I guess they have a very sensitive spam filter. If anyone has any more questions about this, I'm happy help if I can.
I think Aweber is the best. I have been using it for awhile and love the new interface and how they are always loading new web form templates!
I've only ever used Aweber and i think its fantastic but only if you use it to its full capacity, one tip i can give people is to check out youtube for some video hints and tips that have helped me out greatly
I'm on aweber. However, I got grandfathered in at much lower prices. Guess what though? They don't update any of my features on the old prices. Even though I still pay them every month, if I want any updates I have to pay them 7x as much money every month. And when I tried to post about it on their blog, they removed my comment. So... makes you wonder what else they're trying to hide.
I use both... Aweber has more features than getresponse, but getresponse's staff is more flexible.. If i would have to choose one of them, I'll go with getresponse
No, they don't go to spam because... When you collect on the squeeze page the name and e-mail the autoresponder also grab some more informations like subscribe method, IP and some ISP control string so...when you will send a newsletter, in the back the ISP or mail provider knows that the subscriber provided the e-mail on his will. that's how it works
This thread is really old, so I guess what other users mentioned here might not be up to date anymore. Currently which one is the better option?
