This is something interesting I found. Go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/siteoverview?hl=en Choose your site. Go to statistics. Look at Crawl Stats. It gives you a little preview of whether or not your site has some PR.
yup, this is useful but it only shows the list of your pages which have the highest page rank... it does not says what exactly the PR is for the pages
It's much more than PR thing . You can check actual indexed pages by google which you hardly get shown in site:domain-name . And many other important statatics .
It doesnt tell you the exact PR number but the logic says that low - PR 0-3 Medium - PR 4-6 High - PR 7-10 Plus it also tells you how many of your indexed pages got low/medium/high/not assigned PR.(take a look at the green bar, you can guess the %age of pages) Plus it also tell you which page of your site has the highest PR for the month.
cool, i dont see my PR, but now i verified my websites and now i can check if i have broken links.. i had 6 broken links.. all fixed now another step closer to better rankings!! thanks
yes gole sitemaps give you all info about the google's spiders visi to you site and where your site ranks for a keyword.but only the META verification works for me and no file upload also most php scripts do some manipulation to find PR directly from google.
It means, there is no enough data to show for your website 1. either you submitted site just now 2. your site is new.
Here is an interesting observation: I have a new website. I created a sitemap for it and submitted it to webmasters/sitemaps/ couple or days later it was index in Google. Obviously there is no PR assigned to it as it's a new domain/site. But there is about 80% of the site listed as 'low pagerank' with the remaining 20% listed as 'pagerank not assigned'. Does that mean that it is trying to predicted that in the next PR update the site will be assigned a 'low' PR ??
I have a 4-month old website showing that almost all of my pages have low pagerank but when I check the actual PR of my pages (even the homepage) it is still zero
