Yessir. We (if you're in the US) are controlled by a government completely (both visibly, and invisibly) controlled by terrorism fears, and crime fears. And who controls the information that leads to those fears? The FBI. Think about it. They got liquids banned on planes. Liquids. Water. Let that soak in. (Forgive that pun) If they say something, the whole government bends to support whatever their conclusion was. It's the best kind of control. It's completely unaccountable, unconfirmable, and absolute.
I am in the US, and I for one can assure you that I am controlled by no one.. Period.. Well, maybe my wife.. I think you have completely mistaken a bad acid trip for reality..
If you practice long enough, it becomes so natural to bend over at request that you do it automatically and don't notice it...
I doubt that's true. But if so, perhaps your wife is controlled a bit by law and the like. OR maybe she works for it haha just kidding. But before you say that, walk down the street with a joint, and try and bring your zippo onto an air plane. Try to not pay taxes. Tell the goverment "why should I have to tell you where my money comes from?" It doesn't work. You are controlled.
You confuse law and order in a Representative Republic with control.. I am not supposed to kill people or rape women either, does that mean my government is controlling me? What you fail to realize is that I, and my fellow citizens, ARE, the government. We decide what we can and cannot do on our own. We have given up certain rights (like killing people, raping women, doing illegal drugs, etc., ) in exchange for some sense of order, not control. You see, we are not a true democracy. I think this is where you are confused. In a true democracy, people give up all order for complete freedom.. That leads to chaos. As a representative republic, we freely choose our leaders to represent us. we have the oldest, longest running successful form of government on the planet; in the history of the world! There must be a reason its still around... It's anything but controlling.
Now now sir, you got the wrong impression. I was not stating that control/law and order(in most circumstances) I was merely stating that you ARE controlled. By government. And bear in mind, Our Government=Democracy. Well, representative democracy at least. That same democracy you admitted you gave up complete freedom for(not that that's a bad thing). However, it's now at the point where the federal agencies (FBI, CIA, etc) have more pull than the people in establishing policy. Think phone taps, monitoring EVERY inshore and offshore transaction, no fly lists, etc.
