Hi there, Just wondered when people purchase domain names and such online, where do you do it from? I mean, do you do it directly from GoDaddy.com? If so, you are losing out on a fair bit of money. If you join a cashback website (free sign up etc) and then go and register a domain online, you can earn a certain amount of cashback. GoDaddy has a cashback rate of %10, so if you spend £100 on domain names you can get £10 cashback. The cashback website is called Rpoints, i've got a referral link if anyone would like to use it (Apologies if this information has been posted before, I did search for it but couldn't find anything so decided I would give it a go.)
No, not always, only sometimes when I get .coms or other extentions where they are the cheapest. Godaddy doesn't have many ccTLDs so you need to go to other registrars to get them. I will go for the cheapest one with good reputatation like Godaddy, Moniker, Enom, iDotz. When using Godaddy, I always search for the best coupons that will give me the best discount.
But when you do make a transaction online, do you use a cashback website? To be honest i'm not sure too many people know about these kinds of websites, which is a surprise to me as they have saved me so much money. I wont post an affiliate link, but if you like me you can go to my website in my signature and sign up to Rpoints Or if you don't like me you can sign up here http://www.rpoints.com I still think %10 cashback for a domain is pretty good, and if there are any shops that you use that aren't currently listed at Rpoints you can always suggest them, or I can do so on your behalf. Matt
Well, in the end of the day it depends on who the registrar is & how much they charge. It could be an over inflated price, so when they give you cashback, you aren't really ahead. Also depends on which ccTLDs are supported as many registrars don't support many ccTLDs so you need to go with a few different ones to get the domains.
