I've decided to follow the lead of Digital Point and start revenue sharing at WhatCracksMeUp.com. For all the funny stuff you submit, your ads (Google Adsense) will be displayed on those pages 50% of the time. Not a bad way to make some extra money - people have a ball submitting funny YouTube videos, pictures they found on the web and jokes.

Thought I'd let everyone know of the opportunity. If you're interested head over to WhatCracksMeUp.com

    Nick.

Sounds like an interesting deal. I've always been a bit curious about how effective revenue sharing is (both for the site and for the site members using it) on Digitalpoint and other sites that offer it.

Well I'm just hoping it encourages members to participate more. Comment more, submit more etc.. I'll definitely share the results once I have run it for long enough.

I'd be wary about posting my Adsense ads on someone else's website, especially one that isn't as well known. All it takes is a few pictures of naked ladies on the page and your Adsense account will be disabled, just like that.

I'm not saying that will happen, but it's always a risk.

Well your ads are only shown on your posts - so unless you post inappropriate content I don't see why you would have any problems.

You should have good moderation on your site. You don't know if a competitor post some illegal contents to your site which results to banning your site/account and others. There is always a possibility.

Haha the pain of watching funny videos and looking for funny pictures, yeah I guess so. Could also be seen as an easy way to get traffic to your ads.
