I have used many techniques to get .edu backlinks and backlinks from other many sites in one week. Now after two weeks I have around 100 backlinks from .edu sites and 500 backlinks from other sites.

What are the chances that his secret is to post a comment on a blog which is hosted on a .edu domain? If this is the case then you're wasting your time as those blogs use nofollow.
