    Hello,

as most of the readers might have noticed I am new both to the forum and this marketing business, hoping to get a little pointers.

I started my site at the beginning of the year. I started writting little tutorials, articles, adding wallpapers, providing free templates, and other little stupid things. WHat I am having problem is how to attract people.

I tried link exchanging, tried submitting my site in google and yahoo I think, told a few guys on MSN. Still no traffic. OK, 2 people came to my forum and now they stopped comming as well. lol.

Then I start hearing people say over "500+ unique members in week, hire me, i'll do this do that". I don't get it, what am I doing wrong?

WHat am I missing. Please give me a few pointers or at least direct me to a good article. Don't care if it's long and boring, I can handle that. :D

    -Thank You.

What exactly does your site deal with AAZZ?? Knowing that would give a better idea of what to advise.:)

Still the golden rule for traffic " Get good quality, unique content"

I'm repeating myself... but I'm also adding unique content. Go on and check out for example 43things.com and read what people want. Many people seem to want to be happy, get money, lose weight... etc. Perhaps you could have something to give on these subjects? Approach from your personal unique point-of-view.

Write articles on your subject, and disribute them to article directories.

Submite your site to web directories.

    PPC as a quick start!

First of all I would like to thank everyone who have participated to help me in this situation. I will look into every post and tyr to benifit as much as possible.

Some people mentioned PPC. Does it stand for Pay Per Click? I have tried to do this for the past month, but when I reach a site I like, they don't rais my balance. Any good PPC sites? If PPC does nto mean Pay Per Click, then please explain. :)

My website basically focuses on providing free products to new people who come to computer stuff. Products such as Templates (mine really suck at the moment, will improve for sure), Wallpapers, and Tutorials. I am more forused on Tutorials/Articles at the moment by the way.

I don't knwo if this helps or not but before I used to put all of my stuff on my website, but them a friend said that "host everyone on a forum becuase when people come they will not bother to hit your forum link and post. It is better to just use a forum for everything." ANy comments on this? I am hosting everything on a forum at the moment, but my website is running.
