Get Traffic on WebSite Directory Site

I am not sure that it is the perfect place to post or not.

I have made a website directory website www.SiteListing.org and i want to get traffic on site
means the people comes on it to post their websites..

What are the things i need to do...

Hi. I would advice you to try some directory lists like directorycritic. Also exchange links with other directories!

 

@patco Is link exchanging is still effective because I've been hearing alot that it has been considered bad in SEO

 

pnp4all can exchange links with 2 different sites of course! Just like this. Another member submits its website to her directory and she does the same. And then they could make each other those links PREMIUM (if there is a widget on the category...)... Or something like this idea... Of course it would be harmful if you build it on the homepage and the backlink appears on ALL subpages, but it won't be a problem if it exists in 5 subpages in the directory for example!

 

is there any low cost service which i could pay and done the thing for me.. ??

 

first of all change the site design, also enable guest submission with email address because usually directory submission sites don't insist users to register first and then post their data..
