    sucks man but yahoo only brings about 1/10th of the traffic that google can bring. Improve your google serps and you wont have this problem.

    i can't believe you would post this.. you know how shitty you are feeling right now? Well now you are indirectly doing it to countless other people... what was it? Were you number one and he was 2? i know this wasn't you intention, you were just pointing out the hypocracy of the situation... what I want to know, is how do you know it was this person? Did they tell you, or are you assuming? because you could have simply used a copyrighted photograph or something.

    I'm still interested to know how the op knows that his competitor used this method? How was he informed or how can he be sure. What if it was something else altogether.

    How do you know it was your competitor that reported you? Also, suggesting that webmasters falsing report sites for copyright infringement is unethical.

    Was Yahoo! referring a lot of traffic to you? If not, I wouldn't worry and simply contact Yahoo! and explain to them that your website doesn't contain any form of copyright infringement, and Yahoo! just might possibly penalize the website which falsely flagged your website.

    I hope you get this resolved promptly however as I can imagine how stressful false claims like this can be, especially if you are innocent too.
