Get rid of reputation in General Chat

OK, from now on when I red someone, I will do it with a limerick.

 

Cool down, cool down folks. Every one is not the same.There will always exist a difference of opinion.Its okay.

So the points must be above 3000 by now.

 

Positive or negative, rep has a very less value in GC/P&R/Introductions.

I believe its 1/10th value of your total rep altering power.
My rep power is 24 i believe, if i give some one green in GC they would get 2 green points. If my power was 26, the green would've given 3 points. Its rounded off.

 

The max any one can give is 10!!!

 

Yup, thats correct. I know that.

But is it the same case when you hand out reds as you can only red with half of your total power.

 

This days i,am planning how to get to that rep 10 power so i will be less active in GC/P&R/Introductions.Ask me about red reps lol, i think in most of sections in DP we get 50% of rep points.

 

I have to agree. I posted a question/poll on there one day and people voted, some talked, but then you get this ONE person who pops a RED on you with an immature comment. I personally did not appreciate that. You can't respond to it, or even talk to the person who did it. So if the rep can influence potential "customers" on the trade categories... it should be disabled in general chat "anything your heart desires" category.

Just curious. Which subforums are now grayed out for rep? I got a gray this morning and was very surprised to find it from a post in the Search Engines > Google > AdSense subforum. I thought it was just the General Chat and similar subforums.

 

Rep left by anyone with less than 50 posts or less than 10 points is gray I believe.

 

Hmmm, had forgotten about that. That must have been it.
