Get rid of reputation in General Chat

I mean its a joke you get into a disagreement with someone in the General Chat
then you get neg rep, that affects you when you try do biz somewhere else on DP. Need to get rid of that option there.

 

it already doesn't really affect you, it usually turns into a gray anyways.

 

I thought that reputation points in General Chat already didn't count?

They show up as blue-gray in my UserCP.

 

But they can still leave whatever comment they like, reguardless if its true or not.

 

They can do that everywhere.

 

It depends who gives it to you. If you get a green rep from a member with a high rep power sometimes it turns out as a green. Not sure if it's the same with reds though.

 

and you are the only one who can see it..so it doesn't matter, right?

 

Yes its one thing if you have a bad biz deal fine, but to get or give them off a discussion is wrong.

 

Just ignore them; there's no cure for stupid.

Comments always have value, even if they don't count towards rep points.

Let's say I just want to say to MarRome "Nice avatar!"

That doesn't need rep points attached to be a valuable comment.

 

if you have ten square, your rep have power in General chat...

 

even then, its like 1 or 2 points; its not a whole lot.
