Hello I have a network of sites that get more than 1m views per month and till now i monetized through adsense Adsense does 1 month to pay and also does mediocre pays What i want ?? ALTERNATIVES.. What Kind of alternatives? Instant paying , higher paying What can i do ? My sites are Niche Sites on finance , diet etc etc I though about private ad sales and affiliate marketing Can someone point out to methods or ways to get off adsense addiction and use other methods to monetize? I would appreciate references ,examples and any help Anyone that can coach me will get free advertising on my sites Regards
what percentage of visiter clicking on ur add? you can do something like to Ask stores from your city to allow you to put a web store in your site, and you get a commission for any sales. You don't buy the products but they dropship it for you. Also create paid listings in your website where you list local stores and they can put ads or bigger listings in your site for a fee
It really depends on what niche each site is in. Some can be monetized with ClickBank Products. Other with Amazon, and still other with CPA offers. Just to mention a few. There are many different ways to monetize a site other than just with adsense. And, most of these options can be done WITH adsense. You don't have to drop adsense to add another option in most cases. Good Luck! Ira
I think you are stuck with adsense. I recommend contacting "myself" if you are looking for an adsense optimizer consultant if you actually do get 1m views per month. I'm sure with a few secrets from a pro you could pull a 30% to 200% increase in profit. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2013642 adengage pays like 5% of what adsense would. There is nothing better. Affiliates doesn't work because its tough to get real sales unless you are spamming ebay or something like that.
1M page views isn't that much ... just checked our stats and we get about 800k page views a month. That's over several sites ranging from 100 pageviews a month up to 8000 pageviews a day. The trick to adsense money seems to be having less large sites not lots of small ones - higher traffic sites seem to pay better per click than lower ones.
With 1M ad impressions per month adsense could earn you about $5,000 without really optimizing ad placement to the maximum, just keeping correct CTR and CPC.. So you'd like more money than $5,000, you can ad infolinks.com to your site and keep adsense, that will add one or two thousands dollars. You can also try affiliates programs related to each niche, that's much more work to find them in cj.com and clickbank.com and making a sales requires a bit of luck as well. Selling direct ads, why not? But do you have the contacts? You can have an "advertize here" button on your sites and have page giving pricing and ad positions, make yourself paid via paypal. With all that implemented, your earnings could be near $10,000 a month or more, which is more than enough for that kind of work, don't you think? $5,000 is already more than enough to live and save in most countries if nto all.
with 1 friggin million views, I would assume you wouldn't even be here asking this dumb ass question. Adsense shouldn't even be your main source of income, advertisers from all over would be lining up hoping to have their ads on your site. BS thread.
Am I the only one who doesn't think 1M pageviews a month is impressive? Its only ~30k pageviews a day. 1M a *day*, sure, impressive. I have a site getting 500k pageviews a month and and adsense doesn't pay particularly much at all.
We arrange our monetization individually per site. For example at our EasyMarketingGroup.com site which is an overall one for all our online activities to do with internet marketing, we've added our own banners plus a Clickbank ad and a PayDotCom ad. On the last two, we chose the keywords for what appears. Very differently, at our latest site FastPLR we added our own or affiliate banners for products that are going to help internet marketers. e.g. domain names, hosting, autoresponder, traffic, article marketing and being an affiliate. Anyone working with a tight niche would go looking for affiliate products that compliment their own product, without being in competition with it. Generally we head for Clickbank first. And any good marketer will have promo banners available in 125 pixels square, 160 sq and 468 x 60, so all you need do is add your affiliate link. Did I mention that we're always looking for good affiliates?! 60% commission! Adsense was the holy grail when we got started... no longer!
1mil is enough to get something. Its not a competition for pageviews. Of course mentioning pageviews is stupid because UV is better, but meh.
