These athletes are way overpaid period... its time to pay them by their performance. for example, a defensive end in the N.F.L will get a base salary of 200,000 and for every sack he gets is worth 500,000.. bottom line... you perform.. you get paid.. and implement this in all 3 major sports

whilst doing my sports coruse at college i investigated.. if every professional and semi professional gave up a weeks wages.. the world will not be in poverty any more.. and lets be fair whats a weeks wage to some of the top stars..
Yes, this is true, another example are the soccer players in Europe. You must be crazy to pay 80 millions euros just to transfer a player and then pay him 15 millions per year......what does he do for that kind of cash.
it is stupid and i think they should be payed for ther performance. but no where near as much as they do. there is too much money in football
While you think that, they are only paying these amounts on the players because the owners are also making huge amounts on people coming to see these players…
