    Hello Grunt,
    A few things in my mind, which you may consider to implement.

    First, I think your font is too small. You may change it to other font style as well.

    Second, Try to replace the 'black spot' beside the "Recent Announcements' with other stuff (e.g. Ads, Videos, etcs)

    Third, you may add 'contact' page as well.

    I Like it, but it needs a picture or something next to recent announcements, instead of a black box.
