Well If I'm not wrong you could buy one way links?? If not then I have misunderstood the concept You are right that you get hurts if you links out to them, but NOT if you get links FROM them.
you guys talk about services that do this for free where you dont have to link back can you post them
I have no experience with this site, but I am not someone who is inclined to list my sites just anywhere in order to get a backlink. I don't see it mentioned as much these days, but the term "bad neighborhood" could apply to some links. Link farms, spammy sites, and the like can cause you to be penalized by the search engines, particularly Google. Why would anyone want to choose anything less than robust links?
because if you read google webmaster guidelines it mentions the use of linking networks and cooperative linking schemes
Doesn't sound like a good idea... Google is all about relevance and natural links. If you get so many links overnight they would definately not be relevant and will obviously not be natural. I would much rather see ten natural and relevant links than 2,000 script-generated ones. One way to get some serious traffic overnight is by using viral tools like YouTube or GoogleVideo and posting some fun-to-share videos. A little imagination could help in this arena, but I am sure if you put the time and effort you could come up with something fun or funny related to your website. Just include a link to your site in the video and voila! you got traffic. (Not so much for linking purposes, but a much better way to get traffic than 2,000 automated links)
If you don't know the sites that are going to link to you, I wouldn't do it. 1.) Unrelated sites 2.) Possible Link Farms 3.) Could be linking to bad neighborhoods. All three of these possibilities could get you penalized in google.
Let me see if I understand, are the 2,000 links reciprocated? Meaning in the 8 minutes it takes to acquire these links, are there suddenly 2,000 outbound links on your site? Please clarify. If reciprocated, I wouldn't touch this service with a ten foot poll. The sites could be banned from google, bad neighbors, unrelated to your site, etc. Complete waste of time and this could definately hurt your rankings. If they are one-way links, then it is not as bad since you really can't be penalized for links coming to your site.
Bad neighborhood is vital, but only when you link out to other sites. I think its important to stress the fact that, for now, your inbound links might be as spammy as tin can, but you will not get banned or get any penalty, and thats end of discussion. No but what if and that.
doesn't matter as long as you don't link out to them. We are not discussing the quality of the link, but whether a inbound link hurts you or not.
DO NOT TRUST THESE SITES if I make a website and promise you over 10000000000000 links in 1 month, will you buy from me ? These sites are scams !!!! Get your lazzy a** and do manual submiting !!! Trust me it's for your own good !! Peace
I do agree that gettigng 2000 links in a very short time can land one in problems . I have experienced this . Morever this type of links are often taken as spams
I've had sites in the past be penalised for having a sudden surge in links overnight - this sounds suspiciously like a link farm to me and they are definite no-no's in my book. Decent inbound links can be tricky to find but hard work and perseverance pays off. Do you get to review these 2000 links first and check that they are actually what you want to have linking to your site? It's the quality of the link that matters.
Okay here is an practical example from one of my news sites in Norway. When we launched the site, it took us around one month to have decent rankings in Google.no. And for those who cares the page rank went up to 3 (I don't are about the Page rank). Then we managed to get a deal with some local news sites (25 of them) where we started to cross link and sitewide links. During next to weeks that followed, our site just vanished from the Google SERP's, but were still in the Yahoo and MSN. And why so? Because we went from having 100 inbound links to getting over 200000 links during one night. That was a hard time for us, but I told my partners to sit tight and give it two weeks. And guess what, after two weeks, the site came back, a lot stronger in the SERP then before. And it's still that now. So the moral. In short term your site will loose rankings, probably get kicked out of the SERPS. But that is just in the short term. In fact I'm sure that our site would have the same rankings, if we only managed to get 10 links from the best newspaper around the world (and not 150000 as we did) but then again, I don't know anyone at CNN
You know all this banter is really kind of pointless you'll get penalized, you won't get penalized etc if it interests you just buy a domain and test it out you can get a .info at godaddy right now for like 5 bucks, then blow the 9 bucks to join whatever then you will know for sure what happens all for around $13
I don't know about you but I would never trust other people to carry out link campaigns for my website. I was just reading Google Webmaster Guidelines, especially SEO section and I came across the following statement: "We have been on the internet since 1996 and had always taken a very conservative approach on our site. For nearly a year though, we were bombarded by emails from third party linking programs, which stressed the importance of linking for relevancy. Finally, we broke down and joined one of these programs. Unfortunately, the program used hidden links, and Google removed us from the index within a week. I guess it's true that anyone can get fooled into buying snake oil." – Frank, owner of a limousine services company Best regards
