yeah article writing and submission is very good way to get one way links. We are providing one way link services from last one year and we i have seen this article concept very popular.

directories are great, especially the reciprocal ones. It doesn't cost a lot to provide a backlink on some page, but you can get a lot of value for that little link

 

There's so many free directories out there now that I haven't even had to use any of the paid or recip ones yet. I've submitted to 150+ free ones so far and there's still a ton on my list. The directory solicitation section here also has been working pretty well for me. You usually get listed quickly in those because the webmasters are trying to launch their new sites fast.

As with everything do not go overboard with any one method. Remember for long term results you want your site's links to look as natural as possible.

Example: I would not recommend having 100 backlinks from directories and only 1 natural links. That is unnatural.

Diversifying your method for obtaining links will help you get to the top and most importantly stay on the top.

Don't forget to contact webmasters who operate sites with similar content to yours. Of course it depends on the nature of the industry you are in and the website you are contacting, but these links can be valuable if webmasters will give them to you.

 

Yeah, that's true, you usually get listed quickly, but the question is how much is it worth to you? You get lots of PR1 and PR2 links from the directories, maybe even few PR3, it won't help you much to boost your PR and traffic is close to zero. But with recips things may seem a little better.
