get more traffic or increase PR?

i am new in seo...can anyone tell me which is better way in seo to increase traffic for website or to increase website PR ? so i focus on that side...

I'm not joking, focus on targeted traffic and you will get PR from the methods used in your linkbuilding campaign (websites and blogs , the only condition is that they don't have the "nofollow" attribute).

There's no other way getting PR from Google rather than building your traffic and links. Also if you can get dofollow links to your site will be best. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I would always go with good site traffic ...pr is useless against traffic.

My vote is chase targeted traffic.

and don't gloss over the word 'targeted'. You want traffic which is going to find your website useful and is therefore more likely to give you something in return such as an email address or clicking on an Adsense ad.

You can join traffic exchanges and get tonnes of rubbish traffic which will serve you no benefit what-so-ever. Chasing PR is merely part of link building and is still only a fractional part in building your websites credibility at the engines.

 

What are the ways to increase traffic...i mean what one should do that his website daily visited by atleast 150 people so few of them at least give some business

you seem alittle unfocused if you don't mind me saying. You MUST decide on your goals, create a plan that you think will acheive the goals and then stick to the plan. If there was one reason that many do not acheive what they want it is a lack of planning and action....make a plan-work the plan.

article marketing and forum posting got me new 250 visitors onto a new site in the last two weeks, and I did not do that much work!

I think, high traffic good for marketing and advertising.
High PR good for Paid review, selling blogroll and websote/domain flipping.
