    Hi,

I need a CC processor and I need to get the money to my bank account in India in "US$".
What are my best options with lowest costs ??

Do I need to go for Indian processors like Citi, ICICI, HDFC etc or can I signup with Intl gateways like worldPay, 2CO, etc.

The main thing is I need the payment to be recd in my Indian Bank account in US$.

    Please advice.

    Thx
    Vai

In your Bank Account in India a US$ account ? As far as I understand, if you use a US based payment processor like WorldPay or 2CO, they will receive the money in US$ and then remits the balance after their fees to your account in US$. If your bank account is demoninated in Indian Rupee, the bank will do the conversion for you and if your bank account is demoninated in US$ then it would be deposited as US$.

If you go with Indian payment processors then the likelihood that they will receive US$ as US$ is slim as your customers would be billed in Indian Rupees.

In short, make sure that your Indian Bank Account is demoninated in US$ and does not accept Rupees. Citibank and some offshore banks may have that facility.

I doubt you can get US currency in your Indian bank account unless you have a NRI account or an export license.
