Hi, I don't have a huge budget so I'll say that upfront. I want to get the bottom site in my sig page 1 on Google asap, it is only a couple of weeks old and can be found on Google page 1 for some of the keywords but that is from backlinks. I want it on page 1 under it's own domain. If you are in the SEO business and are affordable and can guarantee ranking please PM me with details and price. Honestly, I suggest you do this yourself - most people who will be replying to your request will get you there quickly using techniques that are likely to get your site banned from the search engines - and you don't want that. I suggest you read the Search Engine Optimization FAQ and Chris Beasley's SEO Guide to learn how. I also spotted a few major issues with your site that you should correct - such as your lack of headings (another thing many SEO professionals will use incorrectly), lack of a sitemap or sitemap.xml file, canonical URL issues that can cause duplicate content problems, non-unique and compelling META descriptions, and the lack of compelling quality content to name a few. If you really want to pay someone to fix those issues, you'll have to ensure that your SEO consultant/specialist knows how to identify and correct them. However, as WebSlice said, don't expect quick results if you want to ensure that your site doesn't get banned.
Hi, thanks for the replys I know there are no guarantees (I guess I worked it wrong) but there are companies that do claim to guarantee you page 1 ranking, but if they do it in a way that could get me banned then that is a no no, and I will do it myself as I have always done. Dan, I sent you a PM hope you don't mind The backlinks have me stumped, I have backlinks from 65 blogs, many directories and a couple of my friends have numerous holiday home web sites around 60 between them and I have links on their sites, so how can it be showing I have no backlinks?? Here is a list of several things you can do today to increase your page rank: 1. Have a contact us page, about us page, and at least 5 more pages on your site 2. Write a paragraph of around 250-500 words in length, with 2-5% of the words being keywords you want listed under 3. Meta-tags in your header with the keywords you want listed under 4. Get as many link backs, and have at least 3 outbound links on your site
Hi, thanks for your points I have a contact us page About us page (well I already have a page, that covers all about our service) I would ideally like to add more pages, but as this is advertising other peoples property, if I add pages and pages, I really would just be adding them for the sake of it, as I have already covered everything. This is a very specific market, so there is only so much I can say without repeating myself. I have a lot of text already and am using my keywords in there. I have quite a few outbound links Backlinks, please see my post above I have them but they aren't showing up
1. won't have much of an effect on PageRank - despite being site essentials. 2. again has nothing to do with PageRank. Furthermore, keyword density in page copy means two things - and Jack left town. 3. META tags won't impact PageRank. 4. Outbound links won't improve your PageRank (or your SERP rankings). Why? Because PageRank is determined by the number of incoming links to a Web page that are able to be followed by the Googlebot search engine spider.
