    DMOZ
The Open Directory, also known as DMOZ (the domain name of ODP) is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory on the web. It is owned by “Time Warner” and constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors, and is truly unique in many ways.

Since its index is manually constructed and edited, categorization and relevancy is superior to any other index of its kind and equally as unique is the fact that this data is open and free to the public for replication. As of July 2005, ODP had about 4.6 million listings organized into over 580,000 categories derived from the contributions of some 69,000 editors.

This service seems like plain submission to the directory. If the submission approval rate is guaranteed then I would like to take a review copy.

You can submit your site for free don't bother. Just read the listing guidelines for proper submission details.

    @ All of you.
    listing no one can guarantee
our experienced team would re frame the details provided as per dmoz guidelines
his would increase the chances of listing
the correct category, sub-category needs to be picked
20% of the sites get listed
people who give guarantee would charge $300
in fact they also just take chance

Why pay someone $29 to submit your site to DMOZ. You have the same chance of getting accepted if you do it yourself.

Writing a good title and description will not give you a better chance of inclusion. Some titles and descriptions on DMOZ are a joke.

The only way you can get listed in DMOZ is if you know one of the editors, or you happen to submit to a catagory that has just taken on a new editor and he's keen.

Most of the editors on DMOZ cannot be bothered to get off their arses to review sites for inclusion. Thats why it takes so long to get in there.
