Hi everybody, Is there any way to get listed in the specific search results for a country? For example, if you enter to http://www.google.com.pe and look anything selecting the "páginas en Perú" radio button, you will not only see national domains (.ext.pe) however you will also see TLDs listed as search results for Perú. I own a TLD domain (.net) and want to make it available when someone searchs for peruvian results. How I can do it? Thank you very much for your replies. Jonathan. P.D.: Sorry if my english is bad, my native language is spanish.
Look for Peruvian I.P. and host your site there. Google geotargets results based on the user's IP address
Hi khasmoth, Thank you for your reply. Did you mean that I need to host my site in a server located at Peru? I think that probably there is other way. Please take a look at the following WhoIs details for the domain perubellezas.net: http://whois.domaintools.com/perubellezas.net How you can see the IP address of the server that hosts this site is located in NY-USA and also this domain get listed in the search results if you clic the "páginas en Perú" radio button
I want to make this clear, this is just one factor(hosting your website in Peru). There are lots of factors in order to rank in SERPs. May I know the URL of your site? Did you also ask yourself if you already made the basics of SEO?
my site is canadian and it ranks much better in canada than elsewhere (more than half of my traffic is canadian) I think it's because I have largely canadian backlinks.. although it might also be my google maps profile or my adwords account or something else... I'm not sure.. but I do know that my host is in the US
