What is the key to getting your site and sub pages indexed more? I have a client who has consistently had his homepage indexed anywhere from 10-15 days and the sub pages every 20-30 days. How can I get it so everything gets indexed within 7 days time? Do I need to put a site map on? Once I get the site map how should I get the site map indexed? Get links directly to it? Does the site map need to be linked site wide? Its a HTML site with 2,000 + pages, could take some time
Submitting your sitemap with Google webmaster tools could help. Proper inner linking shoudl help also.
Backlinks are nowhere near as relevant in this situation as ensuring that fresh content is added to your site on a regular basis. If Google comes back to your site each time and notices a whole load of fresh content, it'll crawl sooner each time in order to index that content as soon as possible after it's created.
Nope. Links from greater sites are just as valuable if not more valuable. As the bigger ites get indexed more a link to ur site will mean u get indexed as much as they do. So if u get 7 links from big sites and they get indexed once a week but on a dif day each u could get indexed each day but highly unlikely
I believe this is the only step I am missing as I have many backlinks and obtain more every week. So in order for getting new content, its a service business and not a free resource, would a blog linked from the homepage be enough to get the rest of my site ( standard HTML pages) to get indexed more? Thanks for your tips and help!
There are many factors that count for getting indexed. Use the combination of them only single factor wont help. Try to write good quality content for every pages. Make a XML site map & submite it in google Write unique title & description for every pages. Remove the brocken links if u have. Get maximum no of links from ur relevant sites
