Submit your website on Yahoo explorer and get backlinks from websites which has indexed pages on Yahoo then your website will be indexed.

I have a few new sites (one is end of February) and I'm already getting decent traffic from Google. I get almost zero yahoo search traffic even though it's indexed 300 pages. What's with Yahoo search traffic?

    Hello friend,

yahoo also offer the paid inclusion program to get indexed,it is not necessary to use that program.to get listed in yahoo, first submit your site in yahoo directory then you submit into yahoo search engine.and the DMOZ is the most popular directory, you submit your site in DMOZ diretory.then your site will get indexed.

After submitting your website to Yahoo explorer, make some backlinks for it too and check it again.

Yahoo indexes websites slowly and some websites never will be indexed at yahoo .If you have a good traffic from Google you can ignore yahoo :)

Yahoo has been much easier to break than Google, for us. I would suggest adding your site + sitemaps to Yahoo explorer and building backlinks.

If you think Yahoo's hard to get indexed, try Bing. I've seen sites with 10k pages indexed in Yahoo/Google are typically lucky if they have 200 Bing indexed pages. :)

It's easy to get indexed in Yahoo. Just use their Yahoo Site Explorer and submit your site. My sites got indexed in Yahoo quickly that way, but I don't get any traffic at all from Yahoo.

This is issue with many sites. Sometimes you find your site doing good with Google and BING but it does not even show pages in Yahoo.
So you have to make sure that the site is indexed. Submit and Verify the site URL as well as XML feed or sitemap using a yahoo login.
Once done, you can wait for a while and do some linkbait on the Yahoo network sites like Yahoo pipes, delicious, Yahoo Videos and some more this way you are certainly going to get your way into Yahoo.

I thank that maybe there are a little content pages in your site. Yahoo focus on the content.
