Planning ahead really helps the indexing headache. I have found that getting the domains up and parked, even if i wont use them, for a few months is a good idea.

Domain-Hatching is an excellent point. I have many sites sitting-out the Sand Filter period.

I don't see any problem it letting it take a month or so to completley index a large site...

It's best not to rush these things...

    That comes later. :)

I have been waiting over 4 months for my site to be indexed by the big-G with still no luck. I am positive that it is hurting my chances for the site to succeed. But the only advise that I get is to wait and change my keyword tags, even though Google doesn't oncsider them

Yeah I think that I am going to get a directory submission service to submit to a bunch of directories since I just don'thave the time and see what happens. I have sumitted my self to about 50-100 but I never checked to see how many accepted the link

Also I have two other sites that were started at about the same time that are both indexed and cached by google, and they should have fewer links

that would be a very bad idea, those types of services are known to be useless

What do you base this on. Many use directories to increase backlinks. You just have to know and trust the person doing it if you contract the work, just like any project.

sorry yorui right - i misread his post, thought he meant to use somethign like trafficblazer or submit express, those services are so useless, however yes i could not agree more - submitting your site to every appropriate directory is defintiely a smart move

capebretoner, your site will be indexed in a few days if you:

    1. Find all the free blog hosts you can - I use about 20
    2. Register and start blogs with them all
    3. On each one, put in a couple bullshit posts about anything
    4. Then do a post with links to your site(s).

You will be indexed a few days after.

Thanks for this info. We are new to all this and it won't use a semi-automatic system to do the submissions for us now. Cheers
