Hello . We try to get one of our websites indexed by Google News / Yahoo and Bing News. All the technical details are ok - company informations / editors / terms of use / .... Question is ... From Google we received one reply just after we submitted the request. But, from Yahoo News ... no response even if they say that will contact us in 48 hours and ... we have sent 2 emails to Bing for inclusion and again .. no response ... All the requests were made 5 days ago... We need a little help here from someone who already passed .. - how much time it takes to get a response from Yahoo and Bing ?? P.S - the website represents a serios publication - 3 years old with 6 editors Thank you
Get indexed on Google in a day using this method. What I do is go to Google webmaster tools and list my site, get the meta code and insert it in my site right below the rest of meta data (keywords, description and title) not in that order. Then I go to Google analytics and list my site there. Get the code and insert that below my meta data. Then I bookmark my site on Digg, Stumbleupon, Mixx, Reddit and Delicious, using my exact meta data from my title, description and keywords. Ensure you verify your site on Google webmaster tools and within hours you will be indexed. Works every time. Simple and effective. Next, build backlinks.
I applied at yahoo news with one of my 3 months old site last before 2 days but still no response, hope to be get reply soon. I'll let you update
I got approved in Google pretty quickly. Unfortunately the vBulletin RSS feed isn't working properly so my stuff isn't appearing there. I didn't know Bing/Yahoo also had the same thing, so thanks for the heads up, I'll try with those as well.
Are you discussing Google itself or Google news? I have a website http://www.globetreader.com and am hoping to get indexed in Google news. Any advice? What other options do I have to build traffic and create value in my site?

I'm talking about Google NEWS ! ( news.google.com ) , Yahoo News ( news.yahoo.com ), Bing News ... We have 3 years old, the publication is a multiple autor publication, we publish daily, we submitted a news sitemap ( the 3 digits are not any more a requirement if you provide google with a google news sitemap ), -all the informations like company information are available, terms of use, privacy policy, authors ... and we have a VPS , so the response time is ok i think ... Question is why no response from Y! and Bing ?? At least - something like: We noticed your request, we will review your site .... Thanks ...

I applied once, got rejected, applied again, and still haven't heard back. The second application was sent in roughly 1.5 months ago. I have applied to Yahoo News and Bing twice and never even got response. I am trying to run my site and start earnings some money, but it has been pretty disappointing so far. I started the site in October and it has over 200 posts on it....any thoughts or tips?
