Yesterday morning I posted this article on my Nokia Review website and then promptly bookmarked it with the Top 25 Social Bookmarking Sites. Today it ranks in Google with some great, well targeted terms: "buy nokia n95 online" - 1,068 searches per month - 1st page listing #2 "buy n95 nokia" - 6,720 searches per month - 2nd page listing #20 "buy nokia n95 mobile phone" - 3,241 searches per month - 1st page listing #9 "nokia n95 unlocked" - 1,313 searches per month - 2nd page listing #12 And other targeted terms... As I build more links with other methods my rankings will increase, thus the visitor count, and then the $$$. Happy bookmarking. -Al
Good work. However, 1) Its important that those social bookmarking sites pass Gjuice to you. nofollow wont help. Digg does pass juice so thats good. 2) Ranking on #20 will get no or little traffic if you are lucky. So try boosting your rankings. Only the first 5 results get attention of visitors. 5-10 gets little less and half dont bother to even look under 2nd page. 3) don't be surprise if you see your DIGG page rank better than you in some days. This has happened in the past with several sites. 4) dont depend too much on social bookmarking. Try to get more natural links. Still what you achieved is good. Hope these 4 tips help you get more out of that
Thanks for your response Godmode. The first term is highly competitive and was the prime keyword I was looking to rank for - so ranking for the second page with only SB in the first day is somewhat of an achievement. If my Digg page outranked me that wouldnt be too much of a problem as the traffic would only flow back to my site. Depending on one sole marketing method isnt suggested - many things should be used in conjunction with one another to achieve the best results. I will also be doing some article marketing, buying blog posts, and I also have some other tricks up my sleeve...
Currently: [buy nokia n95 online] #49 [buy n95 nokia] #49 [buy nokia n95 mobile phone] #8 [nokia n95 unlocked] #17 They might come back, who knows. Might not be a good idea though to brag about how you gamed Google on a forum where Google employees regularly lurk. Also, if you are using Overture Keyword tool, you should know that the searches per month on that are way off. -Michael
sorry, I'm newbie here. I dont understand what should I do with that nokia link. hope anyone help me. thanks
Hmm I wonder why I am getting different search results than you ? Using the tool @ SEO Book.. And for the record Im not bragging, just giving away free data and info people will find useful.
Sharing the joy heh! By the way, it wasn't free until you made it free.... And once you make it free, it is worth as much as everyone paid for it(nothing). If google hadn't devalued those links, they will now. Just my opinion.
Yeah, that's Overture driven... underneath the tool, it says: And it depends on what Datacenter you are hitting. I'm seeing those results on eo-in-f104.google.com: [buy nokia n95] Do this... open up a DOS prompt, and type in [ping www.google.com] (without the brackets), and then hit Enter. First thing it will do is give you what IP address you are hitting when you hit Google. Then, copy that IP address, and type in [tracert {whateverthatipaddressis}] (again, without the brackets), and hit Enter, and it will do a name lookup to match that IP to one of the google.com subdomains. The results are still shifting, btw. I'd wait a couple of days and see where they settle. -Michael
SEObook results are way-off sometimes.. but its a good tool nevethless. Try using wordtracker free keyword tool. I found it more reliable.
