I just noticed the good bang for the money thing. It's definitely cute! On an unrelated note and just for humor purposes, I told my mother yesterday that there was a news headline "Wallstreet Gains on Banks". My mother misunderstood and thought I said, "Wallstreet Gang Bangs Banks." Sorry to hijack, just though a little laugh might be fun!
I don't think I have chosen or written an incorrect title as I am selling services here. Get Good Bang for your money is a complete sentence, which literally shows a message " Get good services for the money you spend or get best for your money", and metaphorically it has forced many people to post a harsh feedback on my thread. Whatever your mother misunderstood- perhaps you couldn't make her understand with the appropriate gestures what you actually meant!! Whereas I'm pretty much clear with my title and it clearly accompanies my content.
Actually, there was no harm meant and I was not trying to be harsh. Of course when taken in context your title is perfect. Unfortunately "bang" is a term used in the US for something else so I am sure many people found it a little humorous. I briefly interjected with a cute story and apologized for the interruption. My mother is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer so she doesn't always understand things that are said to her at first. Again, I did not mean to hijack, I was just trying to lighten up the mood.
Apology accepted! You are right. The same word may have several meanings. In slang bang also means slam and believe me in Indian songs I have heard this word being used as " Bomb". This sounds ridiculous. I'm sorry for your mother and I shouldn't have used harsh language here in response to your objection, perhaps I'm going through a rough time and taking everything more seriously these days than i usually do. I have made a mistake but I still feel it correct as per my personal point of view. As you can see people posting comment about the same term I just lost my control.
