Maybe it is just me but I would think most people would prefer to watch a video than to read a post. Does anyone know for sure which is preferred?
No...but for myself I would definitely rather listen to it so I can explore those sites while the audio is playing...
I think that most people would prefer to watch a video unless they have low bandwidth/slow connection factors. As you say you can also surf to the sites in question if need be.
I'd rather read it because I have no reason to think that the video will be useful as there are many resources posted here each day. If I read it, I can open the page, scroll through, skip parts I don't like. Watching a video, I wait a little longer for it to load, and you can't fast forward easily on YouTube, nor can you see what you missed when you do.

Same here. I used to think video was the answer to everything, then I did everything in video... and realized it was a very bad idea...
I'm using a different strategy...some people seem to like it and others don't. I've been successful before doing things that many people think wont work well...so I'm going to continue doing it this way for a while and see what happens. But thanks for the feedback anyway
