www.FreeDeepLinks.com is a free deep link article directory. You can submit as many links to articles as you'd like, as long as they're in the appropriate categories, and follow a few rules:

    1. No home pages, sales pages, or anything other than articles (some blog posts are ok... if it's too short, personal, or promotional, it won't be approved).

    2. You must include the title (which must be the actual title of the article), and you need to follow proper capitalization. Sometimes I'll fix them if I'm feeling generous. Sometimes I'll just reject them if the capitalization is wrong.

    3. You must include a description, and it must be a description of the article, and not of the site or company.

Any other rules are on the site. :)

Nice site. I'll give it a spin! Almost like a digg/reddit for articles or something?

No, there's no voting. It's just a free deep link directory with a purpose of archiving articles around the Web. :)

Thanks Zee. It was the only one of its kind back in the summer or fall when I launched it. Not sure about now. I let it sit for a few months to pursue more important projects. The plan is to ultimately move it to a new domain, upgrade the script, and change the design, with stricter editorial rules on the articles, and fewer categories to keep better organization. Once I get that sorter out, I'll be launching a large marketing campaign, pushing it to actual readers trying to find articles, instead of the current focus that's mainly on getting webmasters to submit links (I'll probably wait until there are around 10,000 articles before the change - and I'll likely hire someone in the foreseeable future to add them for specific categories, like I did previously over the holidays). :) Right now the new domain planned is LinknLearn.com, but I really can't stand it, so I'll probably come up with something else before doing it.

Ok I just submitted a bunch of articles!!!

Your idea is simple and I don't think it's a social bookmarking website. This site can turn big in no time provided that proper marketing is done and by the looks of your profile, I think that's not gona be a problem!

If you need my assistance with the design of the website, I'll be glad to help you out :)

LinknLearn.com is a nice name though, it does sound a bit inclinded towards the kids. But maybe I am wrong, I am more into original, wierd names. Like digg.com or del.ico.us. Maybe I shud start my own gig and call it monkeybutt.com :D

Anyway, rest assure, I will write more and submit more articles to your site. I have bookmarked your website. I know I am going to use it often ;)

Good luck with all your plans! :)

lol No, the marketing / promotion angle is easy for me. It's the "making time" part that usually gets me. ;) I'm not ready to do a new design yet... that will be after I get to 10,000 articles and upgrade the directory script, but I'll probably post looking for a phpld designer at that point to either do something from scratch or heavily edit a template for me. :)

Exactly... I want the domain targeting readers instead of webmasters (I can reach them easily enough as it is, and this way I'm actively driving traffic to the articles listed in there). I'm glad you like the site. Thanks for the feedback, and definitely keep submitting. :D

If you have a portfolio online somewhere, especially regarding phpld, definitely point me to it, and I'll file the link so I don't forget about it. Since I'm usually doing a million things at once, if it's not filed away for later, I guarantee I'd never be able to find you again later. lol
