I'm confused as to how your idea would work. Generally if people write content (unless they are paid for writing it) they would be writing for their own websites. Also, I think it is super important in article marketing specifically to have content relative to your website. For example, CTR for links going to your SEO website on an article related to basketball would suck. I could be clueless about your idea, but this is just what I'm guessing you meant. Maybe you should articulate your idea better and more in depth.
you are talking about guest post and it is nothing new, bloggers are doing this for years and yes it is a win-win condition for all parties involved. however, since you sound absolutely new, i must tell you that no one can value pagerank, so stop saying that. what pr you have currently matters for many when they look for guest posting blogs.
basically its what you make of it, say my site is SEO, I could make an article on a website design blog. you get a good backlink they get content, and as a bonus you get some traffic.
