As a small business owner I have been through many Payment Processors. PayPal 2Checkout Shopcart Etc... But the only thing that I have found to be real is a real processor account with a bank. Unlike the PayPal's of the world a real credit card processing account sends you REAL paper statements, REAL dispute paperwork and real ending statements, plus the whole process of getting approved weeds out many scams. I will NEVER buy from a company that offers PayPal or any E-Related, sign up today, process payments today type processor. Nor will I ever utilize any of these services other then a Authorize.net again for my online business. Sure there are minimums that have to be met every month, but the per transaction and % is much lower then say a PayPal, plus you are dealing with a REAL bank that has to follow federal regulations and not, say, a PayPal that makes up there own laws.
This is actually one of the best ideas I have heard in a long time. Since I cannot use PayPal I have been busy looking around for an online credit card processor that would be secure and wouldn't take half of my earnings as fees, but I have never thought about getting real merchant account with my bank. I mean I have nothing against all these MoneyBookers and PayPals (OK, I hate how PayPal discriminates small countries, but overall I have nothing against it), but I have always liked Estonian banking system better. MoneyBookers might be safe, but it is not even close to as safe as hanza.net or seb.ee and it might be instant, but it still takes a lot longer before you can actually hold the money in your hand.
In the US there are certainly many good choices for direct merchant accounts as you'll easily see on google. For international, it's more of a challange unless you are a larger company. Small firms can sign on with a third party processor. It's somewhat better than paypal, but direct is still the way to go if you can.
Nice way of security. Why is that you hate paypal, other payment processor so much.I have been using them for a long time,I have had no problem with them
