Nice post! Agree, most ebook are just ebooks. Many people are cheating Google, Advertisers and everyone else with their buy traffic and fake clicks....

Google will never be the same...................

according to a friend of mine its depends on how you see adsense.
Although how much you hate it, every one who wants to earn money from internet ever tried it.
    some succeed, some not.

I think many people just give up after trying to make the first $100. It usually takes many months, even a year for that. Most people are cruelly disappointed and try to look for a real job!

Honestly, I failed to even get my adsense off the ground. I was immature and just did the wrong things. But that was over 3 years ago. Few things I learnt was that there is no short cut. Its a process, like any other business. You need to work at it, tend to it and let it grow before you see the results.

There are no get rich quick schemes. Adsense is a numbers game. Apply it properly and it will pay off in the end. My theory is that its easier to just make 50 cents to a dollar on a website than 10K. So just have a system in place to replicate the process. Build more website and work on them. It will pay off in the end.

    Nice demotivational post.

Making good money off Adsense, is really not all that hard. If you struggle to write content on specific fields, then you can always outsource, though the fact you're struggling to create content will probably doom you to failure.

Here's my advice. Find a valuable niche, research that niche until you understand it inside out and then fire up useful content regularly. You WILL succeed. Just persist with it, and in the meantime have a 'real' job, which you can begin to phase out as your Adsense earnings increase.

I started Adsense, at the same time I worked full time, and managed to continually reduce my hours in my 'real' job, down to the point I am at now, which is working 15 hours per week. Another year and I'll be completely out of my job, and working no more than an hour per day. THAT is what I call a job.

maybe is a little to much from this guy but i think he have a good point of view! not everybody can win , must be loosers also! and if you are in the second category is not the end of the world! you can keep trying to make the adsense partnership profitable or you can try something else!

Not you again :( Go peddle your bannable methods elsewhere.

Naw, I think it's good to introduce a dose of reality in here sometimes. Maybe then there wouldn't 50 kazillion people trying like mad to sign up for adsense when they haven't a flippin' clue what it's all about and then just go off and copy someone else's content or try to drive cloaked traffic to the site because they want all this free money.

Make a site because you like the topic and know something about it. Then, if you are so inclined, put adsense on it. Don't build the site with adsense in mind because then it's hard to get past that aspect of it.

what you said is nothing new to me. it takes time, effort, money and dedication whatever you do in life.

even if you work at mcd you need to work hard if you want to make more money and move on at your job.

well if u are like 18 years old and still in school, so why not to take some time on adsense. But if u're like 30 years old and u're not looking for a job, just working with adsense, well thats little...u know...
Of course if u're making good money with adsense, so its different story. For example if u can make like 3k$ a month, so its really good, because in most jobs u won't get half of it.

And in some countries at this time is really bad situation with jobs, because of that crisis, so some extra cash is really help u a lot.

Adsense is good for beginners as a hobby. Don't drop your work hoping that adsense is the way to make good and fast money. You can spend couple hours a day after work adding, promoting or fixing something on your website. And just let it go. Don't expect too much. Give it at least couple years to become more popular on search engines. If you adding something like new article at least once a week you will have traffic overtime. You can have adsense as a toy on your website which will give you couple cents per day, but hope that when you will get good traffic you will be able to sell actual space on your website through some services like BuySellAds.

For me adsense was like a toy. I was excited every time checking my account. Even 10-15 cents could make me feel good. It was not really about the money. It is just that this thing was working. You know what I mean. I think that to go through all this process is just a really good experience even if you don't make good money. So, I suggest for everybody, if you have some free time in the evening try it, but don't expect to get something fast. Maybe you are better writer and you will have more luck.

P.S. My account with Adsense was banned after 1 month for some invalid clicks, but whatever, I think that I got good experience and I will try again with them later but with different account.
The only bad thing about them is that you can not protect yourself from those invalid activities on your website such as invalid clicks or something like that. Everyone who doesn't like you can over click some of your links from google which are located on your website and get you banned. So, that is sucks.
