Alright now don't get me wrong... I have been browsing through adsense for quite some time. And I respect all these people putting so much effort only to end up coming back here to complain about how they got banned from doing something stupid or not earning $1 per day. I even read some members who are going to sue google in court. hahaha.... Good luck fighting their lawyers. They have lawyers that scares the NAACP's top lawyers. I think getting a real job or even working at mcdonalds will skyrocket your earnings from adsense. My advice... Unless you are willing to put 7 hours daily and you are a skilled writer with knowledge on varuious topics. Better yet if you know how to cleverly design a website with strategic sense of placement and color. You will not earn a living with adsense. Just enough money to buy you a red bull to keep you going on adsense. So all you adsense nuts out there, please read through other people's posts before posting. As all of you are just repeating the same damn questions Best of luck to all of you Some adsense Cliches... 1) what keywords pay best? A: Typical noob question. If your website is about fishing. do you think adsense putting ads related to lawyers or doctors will increase your earnings? And you can't even do that. Adsense displays ads according to your content. 2) I earn so much on adsense buy my ebook now! A: Typical scam! Probably some good information. But do you really expect that you will earn that much? 3)Google Banned me help! A: Well bud, you broke their TOS too bad for you 4)I didn't earn as much>!>?!?! HELP!!! A: Well bud, you didn't earn as much because you DIDN'T EARN AS MUCH. Just because you shout on a forum, it doesn't mean an adsense employee reading will feel sorry for you and raise your earnings... 5) Help!! Adsense is now showing my ads! A: Another newbie question... Just be patient it takes about 24 hours sometimes to show results. Take it from me, I have been dealing with adsense for nearly 4 years now.
though people be careful......if any ad reads....increased adsense income or somewhat like that... I bet its going to be a scam ( My opinion ) Adsense earnings depends entirely on ur niche, content and the ability of u to mix the ads with the content !
Well , that very right . People who just start a website thinks that they can make money within fortnight ..but its not true... hard work has to be done...
Right on, it took me nearly five months to earn $150 over a three month period, the majority want results quick without having the knowledge and when they fail they just give up or get lazy, it happened to me now I barely make probably $2 per week or less only because I have not spent any effort, like any other business there should be a business plan for short term and long term results otherwise it is a recipe for failure.
Good post. I agree with most of the points made, however you can make money off adsense. Content plays a key role, but so does your visitors. If majority of your visitors are from the US or Canada, your click value increases, as more bids will be placed by advertisers to have their ad displayed. If most of your visitors are from India, Pakistan, etc... you are looking at very low amounts for each click. Take a look at your ecpm. If your at $1, then you need to drive alot of traffic to your site. For every 1000 visitors, you will make a $1, if thats not enough, then drive in a 1000000 visitors so you can earn $1000....its just a numbers game. more traffic = more rev...i know, its no science rocket, but based on the questions I have seen, it needs to be said
I agree with FreeCashTube, it's just a numbers game. Traffic is what matters. If you have the traffic, it's definitely possible to make money from adsense. Content is not the only source of traffic. For example, if you have a youtube video that gets 500 views a day (or 5 videos that get 100 views a day), you can advertise your site with a banner in the video. Maybe out of that 500, 40 people visit your site. Maybe out of 40 people, 10 of them click ads. Let's say you make .35 cents per click. That's $3.50 a day. Let's say it took you 5 days to come up with 5 videos that bring in 100 views a day, or 5 days to create a video that brings in 500 views a day. That means you could repeat the results and do that 6 times in a month. 6 Times $3.50 is $21. So your first month you are making around $630, second month $1260. By your third month you are making close to 2 grand on autopilot, then you can go work at mcdonalds if you want to make extra money. If you make the videos related, you may get a following on youtube, so the people who viewed your last few videos subscribe and help your newer videos gain more views and it keeps growing from there. I agree with raulmalik, hard work has to be done, but it's definitely possible to make a living with it. You just have to be creative and expect to initially work 3 times harder than a normal job. However, I will admit that I prefer to use affiliate programs with majority of my traffic instead of adsense. I've made money with adsense but found that affiliate programs work better for my type of traffic.
I have been spending almost 6 to 7 hours a day after work to work on my site, doing research, getting backlinks, writing content, etc. So unfortunately I have to disagree that this is "free money." I have had promising results and will have even better once the hard work pays off and the traffic floods in, BUT, until that point, based off money alone I'm better off keeping my current job.
Everything is true although the saying is rather harsh. But for those noobs in any other new fields, it is quite normal to ask questions like these. Be more tolerant to them. Everyone is noob before he become a savvy.
everyone that is new is going to have questions/worries and so forth.nobody knew it all or knows it all when they first start and thats the purpose of forums,to teach and learn
Could just buy traffic and play adsense the easy way. Use LogiTRAFFIC Geo-Standards and booom there goes your earnings cloaked safe traffic... Don't overdo it though. I make about 2000 a month with it haha. Plenty of side money for me.
Generally Adsense is just a little extra money on the side for most people, to make the really big bucks you have to put A LOT of work and effort into it, and luck also plays a roll IMO. So it is possible to make a decent income from Adsense, but I wouldn't really rely on it.
Seems the OP has had a hard time trying to earn with adsense. Most people use it as additional income and not a main job.
I guess adsense is generally additional income for most of people, in fact that sometime the amount received is more than their main job.
