No i dont. I do, have done, and people pay on my own PR0 too. Yes i do, sucess in the sense of people not minding its PR and still submitting, not success as in raking in thousands of dollars from it. I would just like to finsish my post by saying that PR still does matter, im not just talking about directories, i mean any type of site, the mistake is only when anyone becomes obsessed with it. But its wrong to tell others that it doesn't matter, at the same time its wrong to try and make money from using it as a kind of selling tool.
Page Rank is one of 200+ other factors google considers when ranking sites in SERPs. I would rather spend more time correcting my titles, meta description, etc.. instead of running after Page Rank.
Good point, i just mean that it matters, even if only as a tiny percentage, otherwise they would remove it. Its in the toolbar in firefox but plenty of other things dont show in the toolbar, they tell you not to take much notice of it, but kinda place it there for you to look at.
you have to look at it as "why are you submiting to a directory"? -Is it to get Pagerank for your site? (you shouldnt be doing this anyways). If so you should only submit to directories with PR - Is it to help you SE ranking? Then toolbar PR is not important anyways. There are far better directories with low PR and great SEO weight than directories with PR 3 or 4 and low SEO value.
