Get 2,000 Twitter Followers in 30 days or Less!

I've had a lot of success with Twitter. It's so easy to accumulate followers, it just takes a little bit of effort to go find them. Find a guru in your niche you like to follow, click on their list of followers, and then just start following them. The majority of those people will follow you if you're following them.

Post regularly, and limit the "sales" posts. I try to make 75% of my "Tweets" personal, and when I do post something "commercial" it seems to drive good traffic back to my site I'm advertising.

I've got to say, it's one of the few social bookmarking tasks that I really enjoy. I may be borderline addicted to it right now. Post a quick tweet, and then sit back and enjoy.

Joined the group, I followed most people on the list. but one of the first people on the list got their account suspended. Whoops

 

Be careful you don't start following people too quickly, or post your link to the site you're marketing in every tweet. This will get your account suspended also.

Getting so much followers in twitter : Although its looks good to display your feed count , you won't get good (any) traffic from them ...

 

The group only contain 67 member. Is it posibble to get 2000 follower?

853 followers

The best tip is to look out for the people that add you automatically, but now I get like 20 new followers daily.

 

It seems like an interesting promotion idea the chances are higher with more people viewing your stuff and if you have a good site or good material then it will just make it easier for people to access you.

 

Sounds like a pretty sneeky idea. I'd really like to chat to someone that has actually seen some success out of this method. And when i say success i mean lots of sales. So if you're reading this and you've had success please contact me.

 

I've heard you could get some traffic with it. But I think it's a good tool for relationship building... mainly to show credibility?

Also if you have raving fans, they can follow your every footstep.

 

quangvan: i would suggest putting the discussion board up so this group can really have an effect people could start a discussion there and continue adding emails/account names to one list, rather than only the past 5 or so showing on the wall on the main page... do that and I will join, otherwise it's not even owrth my time to sit there and make wall posts all day hoping people will follow me

That's a good idea... I actually thought about doing that. The only problem is that it's not that easy to follow people from a huge list of twitter links.

We have to figure out a different strategy...

Also Twitter took over my gmail inbox lol...

 

I can relate to lvcjmac's post. It's super easy to get followers, and as long as you're mostly posting honest life experiences throughout your day, then you'll get great responses from your followers. I've also found it's slightly addicting. I'm not sure why posting updates throughout the day become so captivating. You can also download twitter applications for your pda's (blackberry, iPhone, Palm, whatever), then you've got a serious problem on your hands!

These type of campaigns will need massive promotion and I would say not everyone would get a high return. I would say the main person that would get the return is the OP.

 

Digg and Stumbleupon has a lot of users

 

I have 1500 followers on twitter on one of my personal accounts and I must say that it is terrific.

It's a goldmine for traffic if you know to use it correctly.

Just be careful when you post or else people will start unfollowing you as simple as that.

It's a micro-blogging tool and a great branding tool.

I would think that you would not get banned by posting in your own tweeter, right?
Just do not advertise in other twitters, I just that would call for a ban. So if i wanted
to post a URL for free articles in my own twitter then that would be oK?
