Yes its actual ppl who will interact wit u. I don't do spoofs. The followers that u will get will be niche specific so for example if u tweet about tech stuff ur followers are going to be tech related as well. I have done this for @optionhustler, @fxboost, @iloveiphoneinfo, etc. And the profile followers I tweet to also generate 100-500 visitors for my related blogs daily.

It will increase your follow count however once the services are done you will have an equal amount of follows to followers (+/- 1%). Usually I find that followers are more likely to unfollow you if you're not returning the favor unless you are a celeb, important news source, etc things along those lines.
